Navigating Special Education with Confidence

Our goal is simple: to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence you need to ensure your child receives the high-quality education and support they deserve.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unclear, stuck, or just want another voice in your corner, One Spark is ready to help.

Parent Advocacy Support is offered on a sliding fee scale basis with a minimum of $10 an hour up to a maximum of $60 per hour to begin the journey of empowerment. Sliding fee is determined once application is submitted after initial consultation. You can meet with us virtually from the comfort of your home.

You are not alone, and you do not have to navigate it without support.

At One Spark Educational Solutions, we believe that informed, empowered parents are a child’s strongest advocates. We are here to walk alongside you through every step of the journey.

  • Helping you prepare talking points, concerns, and requests based on your child’s needs
  • Ensuring you know what to expect at an Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meeting

Advocacy at Meetings

  • Assisting you in communicating your child’s needs effectively
  • Helping ensure the IEP team focuses on data-driven, student-centered planning
  • Speak up for your child’s rights in a respectful, professional way in collaboration with the school team

Ongoing Support

  • Help you create a system to track progress and follow up if services aren’t happening as promised
  • Supporting you with document reviews, progress report analysis, and next-step planning
  • Preparing you for annual IEP reviews, reevaluations, or IEP amendments or Review ARD meetings

What if My Child Isn’t in Special Education Yet?

No problem! We are here to support you before and during the special education referral process too.

If you have concerns about your child’s learning, behavior, or development — but they have not been identified as a student with disability and don’t have an IEP yet — One Spark can help you:

Understand how the special education referral and evaluation process works

Learn your rights to request evaluations and support services
Prepare for meetings like Consent Meetings, MTSS/RTI meetings, Section 504, or early childhood intervention transition conferences planning
Organize your concerns, observations, and questions to bring to your child’s school
Help you advocate for early identification and the right types of assessments if needed
